A second-generation Capital City banker, Kevin Strickland began his banking career with the company in 1988 as a teller. He quickly advanced through consumer loan collections and indirect lending, eventually becoming head of indirect lending by 1998.
Over the next three decades, Kevin built a career in banking leadership, holding executive roles such as regional executive at SunTrust, where he led the Central Florida business banking team. Most recently, he served as director of not-for-profit and association banking at Ameris Bank, where he led efforts to expand the organization’s nonprofit and association client base.
In June 2025, Kevin returned to Capital City Bank as association and nonprofit banker. In this role, he focuses on building and strengthening relationships with nonprofit organizations, membership-based associations and foundations.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and financial management services from Florida State University and is a graduate of the Florida School of Banking.
